Every Honda Wiper Blade Is A View Guard By Anthony Fontanelle Heavy rain. Snow. Mud. Bird poop. Insect splatter. Can you guess what all of these have in common? Of course you can—it is indicated in the title! All of these things can obstruct your windshield view and make it difficult to navigate the roads with your Honda. When this happens, wipers are there to clear your windshield and thus help you drive safely to your desired destination.
The key component of the wiper system is the wiper blade. This rubber strip has the tendency to grip on the windshield, so that when the wiper glides upon it, a clean area is left behind. Honda wiper blades can be used in conjunction with your windshield washer to better remove windshield obstructions such as mud and poop. Moreover, a proper wiper blade acts like a sort of barrier that keeps the wiper arm from scratching your windshield. However, given long and repeated use, wiper blades can eventually wear out. They can lose their grip and thereby
fail to completely wipe the windshield clean or even smear. This means that a compromised wiper blade will make driving through heavy rains or snowstorms a dangerous proposition. Simply put, driving with a poor wiper blade is an accident waiting to happen.
When it comes to your safety and the safety of other motorists, never ever scrimp. High-quality wiper blades are inexpensive and do not need the services of a mechanic to be installed. A few dollars saved by neglecting to change ineffective wiper blades is nothing compared to the worth of your life. Once you find that a wiper blade of yours is not working like it is supposed to, replace it with a new wiper blade without delay. Among the many obstructions that can splatter on your windshield, you do not want blood to be one of them.
Anthony Fontanelle is a 35-year-old automotive buff who grew up in the Windy City. He does freelance work for an automotive magazine when he is not busy customizing cars in his shop.
