Keeping The Comfort With Honda Window Regulator

Luxury and comfort are qualities that have always been the reasons why you love your so much. Some features that make your car so comfortable include seats, air conditioning system, heated front seats, radio and CD player, and the window regulator. Among these features, one of those you tend to take for granted is your car’s power window. Perhaps it’s because this part is rarely used, given that air conditioning is generally preferred to the fresh outside air. That may be the case but it is important that you know its components, especially the window regulator.
The window regulator is mainly responsible for closing and opening the car’s windows. It is made several gears and arms that push the window up and down. There are two types of window regulators: the electric and the manual. Both types basically work the same. Both are composed of different components such as spur gears, linkages, and the mechanical plate. The only difference is that the electric type does not require the use of a crank handle. Instead, its mechanism is activated by a button.
